OCTOBER POTIONS: SPICY BUTTERNUT SQUASH HUMMUS

Putting a fall twist on one of our favorite Mediterranean appetizers. This Butternut Squash Hummus is vegan and is spiced just enough to give your taste buds a little kick. 

Ingredients:

- 1/2 can chickpeas

- 2 tbsp Tahini

- Juice of 1 lemon

- Sage (to garnish)

- 1 clove of garlic

- 1/2 tsp of cumin

- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

- 1/2 tsp of chili powder

- 2 tbsp of olive oil

DIRECTIONS: Put all ingredients into food processor or blender and blend. Garnish with cinnamon and sage! Simple as that.
